About The Artist

Iryna Merkulova

I was born in Kiev, Ukraine. I moved to Canada in my early 30s. I studied painting as a kid, but my academic background is both in the science and graphic design. In Canada I got an oppotrunity to obtain an art education. I was very lucky to meet great teachers and mentors. That’s why I consider myself a Canadian artist.
